How many keywords should I use on a page?

I want to target as many keywords as possible to attract a lot of traffic, yet still have high search engine rankings.

You need to find your keyword density of the page. FInd keyword densite by dividing the keyword by the total number of words on that page. You want to shoot for a number above 2%, but not much higher than 7% in most cases or many search engines will penalize you for keyword stuffing.

Really, you shouldn’t think in terms of keyword density, but rather concentrate on creating really good copy that people want to read (and hopefully want to share). That being said, you should have your keywords on the page, in the title, in the description and in the header. If you focus on good copy, you won’t end up stuffing because sounds robotic, and you will have your keywords populate the text naturally.
Once again though, focus on quality and readability in your title and description and not just keywords.
